Her büyük fırtınanın ardında bıraktığı kendine has bir coğrafya vardır.

Dear readers, today I wanted to jot down a few thoughts on the concept of feeling; I hope it catches your interest 🙂

To feel—they say a person is tested precisely where they feel the most; perhaps that is why letting go is hardest at that very door. Everything begins in the quietest corner of existence. That tender bridge is built not when two lives fit within the crude boundaries of words, but when they touch through the rawest, most defenseless state of the soul. It is such a moment that the sharp gears of time seem to stand still; all the noise of the world, all its sharp edges suddenly soften, leaving behind only that stubborn, pure closeness.

Yet to feel is simultaneously the deepest well a person opens within themselves. Because this emotion is not merely an outward flow toward someone else; it is a way of confronting one’s own shadow, vulnerabilities, and the voice within that never falls silent. At the beginning, everything is so clear, so convincing that one thinks this pressure will never subside, this fire will never die out. Yet life has its own wind; no matter how hard you try to resist, that current takes you and leaves you right in the middle of your own reality, in that inevitable solitude.

Every great storm leaves behind a geography uniquely its own. Neither a reckoning remains nor a noisy quarrel; only the moments slowly erased by time and the matured, slightly more sharpened face one sees when looking in the mirror. One realizes that whatever happened, what lingers is not bitterness, but the subtle, noble ache that feeling leaves behind in a person. Some carve their own statues within this fire, while others quietly walk away listening only to their own echo.

Because feeling is not a mere passing whim; it is the sole proof of how deep one can descend into the roots of their own soul and how honorably one can bear that weight. Life sometimes takes a vast story away from a person, leaving behind only a silent shrug, a stony calmness, and an unbendable spine. And ultimately, whatever transpired, what remains is the ability to rise from that table with one’s own silence and flawless distance. That remaining silence actually speaks far more than all those loud sentences combined; not to those who wish to hear, but only to those who know the direction of the wind.

It is beautiful to feel, it is human to feel, it is human, it is real to feel.
